What quotes do you turn to for inspiration?
Sometimes I gather quotes of the bible and torah, other times I look toward buddhism, but overall, it's about people in the more here and now, such as Audrey Hepburn, Einstein, Elisabeth Kubler Ross and the Buddhist nun, Pema Chodron; but in reality, the memories of words my late mother would share are my go to.
Who is your top woman role model:
My daughter. She is strong and sensitive, smart but logical and everything in between.

Quickie Body Language Detective Work

Want to know if the person you are speaking to is engaged in what you are saying? One body language clue that is often ignored is the pupil of the eye.

When someone is interested or focused on something, their pupil widens a bit; and can change even in the same lighting, depending upon their interest level in the conversation.

So, next time you are in conversation, bring up a few topics and see if you can't notice when the pupils change.. practice and enjoy your new 20/20…


Headache? Try Yoga or, "working it out".

Almost everyone calls chronic "bad" headaches "Migraines" however, true migraines are more rare, while almost all of the other types of headaches are more common, and can be very much chronic as well.

Vascular headaches can occur with nausea; this can happen in a migraine but a vascular headache can be independent of a migraine as well. They are not neurologic. (think "fever headaches).

Muscular are common and often cluster styled or "all over".…


Chaos turns into Yogic Inspiration

Sometimes I have themes when teaching yoga, even when my clients have no idea of them. Every now and then it just hits me that I feel inspired by something I hear or something that I observe; and it becomes often, a last minute theme. 

Today, while the sun still was bright and hanging in the sky giving a little of that spring warmth, I heard someone speaking about life being complicated and trying to embrace chaos. 

Wow. Their complaint ended up being my inspiration.
